Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Letterbox: About 200 yards
The Field Store Cemetery was worth the visit. It is big, old, and has wind chimes ALL OVER it. Fun to walk around and see all the chimes, and decorations on the tombs.
Directions:
From intersection of FM1488 and FM362, take FM362 north for a short ways, then turn right at sign for "Cemetery" (Schneider Rd). Park on side of road by entry gate #2.
To the Letterbox:
Enter Gate #2, then go right to Gate #3. Turn left and follow road to the back, then curve right and continue on road for 100 steps. Look right for bush and statue. Go right past those to headstone for "Stokley". Next to that is a Yaupon tree. Box is in middle, closer to Stokley stone.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
