Lake Waco Dam Hike & Bike Trail - Lakeshore Dr. entrance.
Snowy Skies
Enter the Hike and bike trail from Lakeshore Dr.
The area will be landscaped with several raised flower beds.
Locate the round flower bed. Position yourself on the sidewalk with the round flower bed to your left - looking down toward the trail and the lake. To your left at about 10 o'clock is a group of trees along a fence. The far left tree has a vertical tree and an odd limb growing at a 90 degree angle. The next tree to the right is a double set. The third tree in the line is a large single truck tree. The letterbox is hidden at the base of this tree under sticks and rocks.
Moonlight Flakes
Travel down the hike and bike trail along the dam. In the distance on the left you will see a building in the water connected by a bridge to the dam. Travel to the bridge.
When facing the bridge from the trail, there are two walls on either side before the bridge begins. There is a small opening leading around to the back of these walls. Around the back of the wall to the left you will see a black pipe. The black pipe travels up the wall and turns to the right to follow along the wall. The letterbox is hidden where the pipe turns to the right under a vertical metal brace. It is buried under rocks.
