While in Grand Marais no trip is complete without a stop at the Worlds Best Donuts shop! You can smell the sweet treats as you approach on Broadway. Look for the iconic red and white round logo and the Scandinavian photo-op outside the building. Go inside and make your selection. You can’t go wrong, but our favorite is the Skizzle. A cup of coffee is so nice to go with. In the dining area it’s fun to look around at the local’s coffee cups and photos from visitors!
Once your treat and coffee have been enjoyed. Head back outside and down the porch pathway towards Drury Lane Books store. Notice the steps to the front door of the book store. To the left you’ll see a tall spruce. Careful as this is a high traffic area. Take a seat on the stairs next to the spruce on your right. Look beneath the spruce and reach behind the landscape lighting post hidden under the lowest bows of the tree to find what you seek.
Please seal and rehide well with a rock on top to hold it in place.
