(Start at the SE 69th Street entrance where it runs into Mt Tabor Park.)
Start at the Sign “Mount Tabor Park”, you might want to start this hunt before dark!
Climb up ten flights, to a paved road. What you do next you will be told. If you go up more stairs you might feel dead, so take the uphill path to the left instead.
As you hike, you may count the light posts above, for the clues below were written with love.
On your left look for a big-leaf tree. This, my friends, holds the key. You'll find one tree with four trunks: two connected, one barkless, lifeless and leafless. Near the base, the box will be hovering. (You may need to do a little uncovering.)
If you’ve reached 6 light posts you’ve gone a bit too far, go back five steps and you’ll find it, not far!
If you’ve succeeded you will find a small treasure from Girl Scout Troop 12328!
Hike length: 0.5 miles
