Exit I-70 at New Castle. Drive straight through intersection, up the hill and around the curve. You are on Castle Valley Blvd. On your left you will see the fire station and shortly after that you will see a trail head named Jolley Trail with a small pull off to park. You will then come to a split in the trail. Take the Prendergast Hill trail. This letterbox is hidden by a 7 year old girl scout who is trying to earn a letterboxing badge. This letterbox is named for her favorite stuffed toy, Weenies. Weenies is a stuffed bunny she has had since she was a baby. The letterbox is hidden near the bottom of the hill. As you are just starting to gain a little elevation, you will see a tree stump on your left. There is tan/orange rock sitting on top of the stump. Look up hill a little bit from that stump and you will see a very dead tree with 3 branches sticking up in the shape of a "W". Inside that dead tree you will find Weenie's Letterbox. Please hide well. It is covered now with rocks and sticks. Inside is a homemade stamp of a stuffed bunny. If you continue up this trail you will have wonderful views of New Castle. Enjoy!!
