1) When you arrive at Trails and Trees, go to the parking lot and to your right a little ways, you will see a farmhouse and red picnic tables. Walk in-between both of them until you see a red sign that says “PA Trail of Native Trees” and enter the trail.
2) You are on the correct path if you see two white posts on the left with the letter N, then on the right, you will see the number 38, which is a spruce tree. Continue on that trail.
3) As you walk down the trail, you will see two benches and a birdhouse, bear left and continue on the path.
4) Travel down the path until you see a two-foot stump on your right and another birdhouse on your left, continue forward. Do not go up on the left path and don’t go down the right path.
5) Cross the bridge and go up to the top of the hill.
6) When you approach the “T” in the road, turn right and walk down the path. You are going on the correct path if you see a giant tree attached to the path on the left.
7) As you continue on the path, look for the mountain of rocks.
8) When you get to the rocks, look to your right about 10 feet for the tree that is split to resemble a “V” shape right beside a big tree with a vine going up it and at the base of the tree, you will find the surprise! Be careful where you step!
