A charmed coyote plays near the wolves of Point Lobos. Curiously we saw signs warning of coyote activity in the area. Our image is a copy of that found on pottery of the Mimbres culture which created art in New Mexico around AD 1100.
Muni bus route 38 or 38R run west on Geary and turns around at 48th Avenue and Point Lobos Avenue. The Pacific Coastal Trail leaves the Lands End Parking Lot north through a forest of well manicured twisted Monterrey Pine. The trail turns east and arrives at the stairs for the Memorial for the USS San Francisco. There is information posted there for Navigating the Golden Gate Bridge.
