From the corner of the parking lot on the right side of the rec center walk the trail/MST up the creek until you come to the cable that crosses the road at the restroom. Turn left on the blue blazed rugged trail and travel until it turns left once more. Go about 43 paces and turn 140 degrees east south east, take about ten paces and you should find what you seek at a good place to sit and rest. If the sun is shining just right y ou may catch a glimpse of gold as you walk by
