Enter the park through any entrance and make your way to the Nature Center. Looking at the front of the Nature Center, walk over to the immediate left side of the building - it will look like there's a trail leading down to the valley, but there is no trail. On the left side of the 'not a trail' there are two large cut logs that intersect - and a hollowed out part on the underside of the intersection. The box is tucked into the hollow.
