1) Start at the Louis Lake Picnic Area with the large parking lot
(Shoshone National Forest 3002F road)
2) Walk down the stairs towards the lake
3) Stop at bottom of stairs ( and walk 12 steps towards picnic table)
4) Turn right and follow the trail towards smaller picnic area parking lot (not the main sandy beach area)
5) Walk 60 steps spot the picnic table on the right (you are going the right way).
6) At 112 steps, there is a second picnic table on the right
7) At 128, look through the woods towards the lake (left)
8) Identify the large 3 foot Stump
9) Letterbox is at the base under some rocks
