This box is located on the Deer Leap trail near the overlook. This trail splits off the Long Trail and the AT. It also starts at Inn at Long Trail, the location of the first US letterboxing event. Great views on top.
Directions:
Get to park area to right of Inn at Long Trail (off Hwy 4 near Killington).
To the Letterbox:
Follow the signs and hike all the way to the Deer Leap overlook. Once done return to the wooden steps, but don't go up. Instead go left along the stone wall for 22 steps. On right go to back of large tree and box will be under sticks.
