This letterbox is part of the GO and Build a Better World! program in Adams County. It will be available from June 3, 2017 to July 29, 2017. Further details about the program may be found at www.goadams.org.
The GO and Build a Better World! program requires you to search for up to 15 “landmarks” – wooden posts with engraved plates on them, instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please use a colored pencil or crayon to carefully rub the impression onto your GO and Build a Better World! rubbing sheet, available for free at any Adams County Library.
This letterbox may be obtained by correctly completing the blanks below while walking through downtown East Berlin and providing your responses to East Berlin library staff during normal summer operating hours. GO Adams! level of difficulty = Easy
- To receive the rubbing plate, you must correctly complete all blanks below and share them with library staff.
- Starting from the library entrance facing the parking lot, turn right and follow the cement path to the street.
- Turn right on this street and continue 2 blocks until it turns right.
- After turning right, locate the old fire station on your left. What is the number on the sign over the door? ____

- Walking further on this sidewalk you will arrive at a blue sign about a house that is a museum. What is the last name of the person who lived here? __________
