Sunken Gardens is a wonderful park, overflowing with all kinds of shrubs, flowers and trees. One of my favorite things to see is the koi ponds that are covered with water lilies in the summer. Be sure to bring your camera. It can be busy, though so be sure to be discreet.
Start in the center of the dome. Follow the path a few yards to Dorothy Forbis. Don't forget to look down. Curve right and stand in the center of the first circle garden. You should be able to see a single staircase in front of you, leading up to the second level. Go up. Stop and rest at the bench to your left. You're on the right track if you can see the trumpeter. Follow the rock-eged secret path on your left, and stop at the 3rd stone bench. You should see a blue urn. The ladybug is hiding under the largest rock to the left of the stone bench under sticks and leaves and pinecones.
Please provide your own ink.
Put back discreetly and cover with more sticks and leaves.

Hike length: 0.1 miles
