Owl Box-
Park at Williston Community Park which is located behind the Williston Central School.
Start on the paved bike path. Head to the right and walk out to the entrance of the Allen Brook Nature Trail. The entrance is located across from the baseball field.
Walk across the boardwalk that crosses the Allen Brook and up the small hill. The trail will fork at the top of the hill. Take the path to the left. Stop at the first bench which will be on your right. Notice the large downed tree behind the bench. Take approx. 24 paces along the left side of the tree. Look for the box under the tree. Be sure to hide it again when you are done.
Fox Box-
Continue back on the trail to locate the next box.
You will pass another bench and shortly reach another intersection. If you are done, you can head right and it will take you back to the start. If you want to continue to the Fox box take a left. Follow the path and continue on until you cross 2 bridges. After the second bridge and up a small hill you will come to another intersection. Take a left. Walk on the path until you see to the right a group of 5 White Birches. Head toward this grouping and look for the box at the base. This path will continue on to a loop or you can head back the way you came.
