From highway I-84, take exit 173 or 182 to Addison Avenue. Proceed on Addison Avenue until you come to Street 3300 East; turn north. You will see a rock in the shape of Idaho State pointing the way to Shoshone Falls.
When you get to Shoshone Falls GD RD turn right and go down the hill. At the entrance gate you will need to pay a small fee for day use. Proceed down the hill and park in the first parking lot on the left, immediately after the RV parking spaces. Park as close to the east corner as you can.
Now look back into the south-east corner. You should be able to see a stone bench and a drainage pipe. Head that way. You will know you are in the correct place when you see Nick Shoemakers headstone.
Now sit on the bench facing the drainage pipe. Look up and slightly to your right you will see a tree and behind that tree and slightly to the left, you will see a large rock.
The letterbox is in the crevice between two large rocks hidden behind a smaller rock.
Sit on the bench to stamp and enjoy. Say, "hello," to Nick and thank him for the use of his bench. Be sure to return and hide well.

Wolf Dancer
