Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 0.5 mile RT)
Status: alive
St. Edwards Park has several trails and wide open spaces to enjoy hill country views with Bull Creek running through the middle. No wonder this bull feels heavenly.
Directions:
From Hwy 360 go north on Spicewood Springs Rd 2.3 miles to parking lot for St. Edwards Park on the left (just past small parking area along road on left).
Clues:
Walk to map kiosk and go down and right on Yellow Trail then right at jct. Stay right at next jct for Green Trailhead. Keep straight at Yellow Trailhead sign heading into woods. Bear right on Orange Baxter Trail sign and after a few steps turn right on Red Randy & Von Cile Trail. Follow Creek to next red post and from there continue 100 steps to large tree 12 steps uphill on right. LB is at back base under rocks. You can continue a little further on the trail to a scenic pool and small waterfall.
Hike length: 0.5 miles
