This letterbox was hidden by Brownie Troops 34286 and 34504 as part of their “Letterboxing” badge.
Head to the Activity Center Park, also home to the headquarters of the Washington Township Parks District, at 221 N. Main Street, Centerville, OH 45459.
Use stealth, especially if you are here on a summer’s day! The parks is a popular place for parents to bring kids to cool off.
Once parked in the lot, go to the picnic shelter. Walk to the far side of the picnic shelter away from the playground, and face the softball field. The parking lot should be behind you, and the restrooms and drinking fountains will be to your left.
Walk around the softball field until you come to the sign that says “220,” down the foul line. Turn your back towards the softball field and find the tree that has gone crazy and grown quite a few trunks.
Walk to the tree; the letterbox is in the heart of it.
