Admission to the historic site is NOT required to find this stamp, but I HIGHLY recommend it! An inside look at what the west looked like a few generations ago.
Locate the bronze statue of "George Lane Attacked By Wolves".
Walk to the fence behind it, which runs north from the welcome center.
Walk along this fence heading north until it ends in a T with a perpendicular fence.
The Bar U Letterbox is wired in between boards in the junction of those two fences, about 3 feet from the ground.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
