NOTE: Trail is shared with mountain bikes, hikers, and walkers. A brown marker or stamp pad is recommended.
CLUES:
Find the trailhead and begin at the Information Sign. Start by following the direction of the Green Arrow, keeping the Green Start Post on your left. Use Youthful Strides for this hike.
At the 4-way intersection, stay straight, going between the 2 many-armed pine trees. As you approach the “triangle”, notice the 4 choices. Choose the outside path at 220 degrees passing the large, double-trunk pine on your right.
Proceed through the many fallen and cut ones.
As you enter a clearing, you will have a choice to make. Left is not right. Up and down and around the trail you go...keeping an eye out for the interesting wooden art piece.
As you re-enter the woods, stop at the V-tree on your right. From there, proceed 28 steps further down the trail. The loons are waiting approximately 4 steps at 140 degrees.
Continue on the trail until you come to a choice. Loop right all the way around to where you began. You will see the parking lot.
It is our pleasure to plant this box for you. We hope you enjoyed your hike. Please clean the stamp, repackage the letterbox carefully, and rehide well. And, please log in to update us on the status of the box. Thanks!
Hike length: 0.5 miles
