The box is in honor of our Grandma. She loved the Spring and flowers.
Drive into the park and head toward the back of park following the main paved road. Go past the lake on your left. When the road forks continue straight. Park in the row of spots to your left near picnic tables. You will see a large sign and map of park (immediately before the bridge).
Facing the map take the purple trail to you right. It is a very rocky trail with a lot of roots sticking out. The stream will be on your left. The beginning of the trail is flat. Eventually you will go down a slight hill before going up rock stairs. Take roughly 16 stairs up. Stop at the large sister tree on the left side of trail. On The right side (almost directly across from sister tree) is a tree with a hollowed out base. Look for the box in the bottom of the tree.
