Falfurrias is the county seat of Brooks County. Brooks County is the leading producers of watermelons and honeydew melons in the state. They have a Watermelon Festival.
The box can be found at Sacred Heart Burial Park. Use the entrance at the corner of Travis and Lariette Lane where it says "Water will...." Go into cemetery and turn left at second road. Go past the fence on the left to first tree with Terra Gene marker on the right. The tree had three trunks at one time, but one is gone and there is a hollow space there where the box recides.
