Pierson Woods is part of the Sippican Lands Trust in Marion MA. From the Marion four corners on Route 6, travel east towards Wareham. At the first light, turn right on Point Road. Pull over into the entrance to Pierson Woods just after you pass Little Marion Golf course and a row of mail boxes on the right. Take the path into the Woods. At the T, turn left. At the fork, take the right. Follow the path. Bear right at the hollow tree stump, going towards the water past the picnic table.
Enjoy the view from the platform. Turn back along the path to the rock with the marker honoring Cynthia Grace. The box is behind the rock between the rock and the tree. The butterfly symbolizes the protection the lands trust provides to all creatures. On the way back, take the trail to the right, then turn right at the trail sign down to your starting point.
