To find the Anastasia Krupnik letterbox, go to the library in the city where Anastasia first lived... and also where her author, Lois Lowry, used to live! Follow Anastasia's footsteps to the library, and upstairs to the children's room. The friendly librarians behind the desk will be happy to retrieve it for you!
Note - when my daughter was 8, she fell in love with the "Anastasia" books... just as I once did. She laughed about the gerbils in the book "Anastasia, Ask Your Analyst." Then she was delighted to meet real-life gerbils at the Cambridge Public Library! So when she asked me to carve an Anastasia stamp, I knew just where she should go... and who should live there with her. The library's gerbils are long gone, but happily the letterbox lives on.
