Hints for Tamarack Alley (edited 8/2/24)

1. Walk down roadway from the museum to Amikwiish Way. Follow this trail until you reach an intersection labeled Tamarack Alley, take a right to follow this trail.

2. Follow the boardwalk through the low grassy area and continue along the trail.

3. Next you’ll reach a large piece of bedrock on the left.

4. Keep your eyes out on the right side of the trail, soon the watercraft building will be visible through the trees.

5. As the trail gets rocky and starts on an incline, you’ll pass some exposed bedrock on your right.

6. Soon you’ll pass another exposed rock on your right. This one has lots of ferns growing along the sides, and at the top an old telephone pole and wire.

7. Behind the base of the telephone pole is a young white pine tree. Look near the tree for the letterbox.

8. CONGRATULATIONS YOU FOUND IT! Stamp the journal page and add your name (or nickname) and date. Stamp your own journal if you have one. Please put everything back in the letterbox and close the ziplock bag and hide it in the same place. We hope this was a fun adventure for you!
