Your journey starts at the Tendick Nature Center located outside of the town of Saukville on county O. Park at the Tendick nature center /frisbee golf course, not to be confused with the Tendick archery range and canoe launch.
Once parked look for the restroom shelter, take the pathway towards the shelter and message center. Walk along the volleyball court and take the pathway going up the hill. You will see a rather large windmill to your right , and an old structure maintained by the master gardeners. Are there any blue jays here? Take the pathway to your left towards the forest, you are getting close!
The pathway will open up to a frisbee golf area, go straight to the forest edge in front of you following a series of white posts sticking up from the ground. You'll notice a tree leaning way over the grass, from this tree take a left along the forest edge and grass. Follow this until you come to a concrete slab. Next to the slab is a pathway into the forest, take this pathway. You will see a green bench to your left, along with another slab.. Course #9. Count 77 paces until you see a tree with a hole in its bottom. Look inside and say hello to the blue jay.
