Along M-62 (Veteran's Memorial Highway) South of Dowagiac and North of Cassopolis on the East side is Veteran's Memorial Roadside Park. There is another little park on the West side - Beeson St. Park - but for the letterbox you want Veteran's Memorial.
You turn into a circle drive. When you see the flags, park and walk to the Memorial. There are a couple of benches here for stamping convenience.
With your back to the WWII roster, walk off the cement and 23 steps in the grass until you find "The Commisioners", Steve & William. Pass between two blue spruce trees and walk along as if following the highway. Keep an eye out towards your right until you see a large Maple that is half stump, half tree. At about 5'6" is the obvious letterbox hiding spot.
