So you want to take a little hike in the Great Blue Hills? we have planted a letterbox along the way for you to find!!
This is an easy find, good with kids. So get yourself a DCR map (you will need the $2.00 map because intersection is not marked on any other map)and make your way to intersection 1162. as you face the 1162 sign, turn right and walk 50, or so, steps down the path.On your left you will see a gravestone-shaped rock about 2 feet high, about 3 feet off the path. there may (or may not) be a very rotten dead tree trunk, 4 ft high, behind it. Letterbox is under a pile of stones at the back of this rock. Please bury the letterbox under the stones well, after you are finished so that the next person doesn't see it!! Enjoy your day in the Blue Hills!
