Easy to find on a relaxing day for a picnic and fishing.
Hand carved stamp.
From I-19 take exit 12 to Pena Blanca lake. Follow Rte 289 to the sign for Walker Canyon. (mile 8) and look to your right for a big circular pull-out. (AKA a useless Arizona round-a-bout)
Directly north there is a large 3 trunk tree. The box is under some rocks and debris. This area gets very scenic as you head toward the lake and the back country road to Ruby and Arivaca. Let us know the condition of the box., We intend to visit the area again soon.
It may have removed by USFS clean-up or fire.
