Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Letterbox: 25 yards
***** Reported Missing ********************
The "Mount Princeton Lodge" Letterbox is located at this lodge near Mount Princeton, one of Colorado's 14,000 ft mountains. The Lodge has plenty of fun for everyone, with Hot Spring pools, slides, pools in the river, and much more. This is a great place to spend a day and night!!
Directions:
From Johnson Village, go south on Hwy 24 to Nathrop. Turn right on CR 162 and go about 5 miles to the Lodge on the left. Park near the store and close to the steps down to the 1st pool.
To the Letterbox:
Walk to the steps (should be a light pole near the top). Go down toward bath house counting the wooden steps until you reach #12. There should be a huge boulder on your left, between step 12 and 13. Go to far side of this boulder, and there should be a flat rock close to it on the ground. The box is under this flat rock, with smaller rocks added on top. Please cover well when done.
