Summit Rest Stop
UNFORTUNATELY, THIS BOX HAS GONE MISSING. THE AREA WAS DUG UP RECENTLY, EVIDENTLY. SORRY
This box was formerly known as "Donner Lake Overlook" box. That box no longer exists. This one has been planted in its place in a totally new location. If you have the Donner Box already, you can get yourself a new "find" for this one.

Clues: easy but written in reverse order to confuse you
Distance: Easy, short walk from your car on dirt.
Caution: There's snow here in winter months which will probably rnder this box unreachable.
The letterbox is on the uphill side at the east end of a 2 ft diameter log that is 7 ft long resting against a living tree of similar size. To get here, find the trail sign & walk one minute up the trail.The sign is east of the picnic tables up the dirt path from the yellow fire hydrant. Access to the fire hydrant is from westbound I-80 at the Donner Summit Rest Area located 3 miles west of the Donner Lake interchange.
This series of boxes can be done in any order. As a matter of fact, doing them in the numerical order we've posted them in is probably a bad idea! You decide your route.
