This Letterbox commemorates both longtime Maquette based Bunny Bread Bakery (1941-2009) and one of it's most tenured Vice-Presidents, Leslie J. Roberts (1915-1989) our DAD, GRANDPA AND GREAT GRANDPA. He loved to play with his grandchildren and make them laugh. So have some fun in his name.Go West on W. Washington Street (US-41) from the corner of the Front Street stop light 1/2 mile.Go North at the Harlow Park Sign up 7th Street hill. Park behind the park.Locate the Veteran's Memorial. Stand on the globe inprint, facing the flag and flag pole.Walk to the flag and flag pole. Turn around to see the words of JFK.Walk to the name bricks and begin counting those in the far right row.Count 24 bricks, turn right count 33 bricks and turn to face Lake Superior (East)You will see the name Leslie J. Roberts 2nd Lt. under your feet. The box is under the bush to your right. Make sure you hide the box once you have completed your stamp work. Let me know if anything is missing or wet. wroberts@greatlakes.net
