LIMITED TIME ONLY! 2009 Minnesota State Fair Stamp on a Stick!

Every year we have a "date" on opening day of the fair. Admission is reduced, and some food items might be "on sale" or what passes for low cost at the fair. Still, we love the get together, and have enjoyed this low traffic for the past 12 years. This year we will plant the box by 10:30 AM on opening day (Thrifty Thursday). This box will be present only during the run of the fair. You will need to find Katie Ketchum; she is the only one with the box at the secret location described below. If Katie isn't there (she usually is, all days), you will need to return later.

Clues:
We love history, and think everyone should take a moment or five to remember how things were, and why they were that way. Seek out the "older" things at the fairgrounds. Hint: Katie Ketchum has the box. She's not a blacksmith, but understands them and sticks close by. If you are fortunate, you can get a first class lesson in pioneer food preparation.

The pass phrase is, "Katie Ketchum, stand and deliver!" She might not actually stand up, but she will produce the box for you. :)

Rainbow ink pad provided in the box, so you don't need to bring your pad to the fair. Only your log book and stamp are needed.
