From Kinnelon Road turn onto Fayson Lakes Road. Drive approximately 0.4 miles. The trail head will be on the left side of the road, just before the first bridge. Start following the blue trail. On the blue trail stay on the path closest to the water. After you cross a small bridge keep hiking and look for an area with lots of rocks. Go 100 steps from the rocky area until you come to a medium sized rock. Go approximately 76 steps from the rock until you come to a big double trunked tree on your left. Next to the double trunked tree on the ground is a dead tree. If you follow the dead tree's trunk to its roots you find what you are seeking.
