I planted this letterbox in honor of our friends, Jill and Andy, who were married on Block Island this weekend. It could not have been a more beautiful wedding!
As you come off the Ferry onto Block Island, you will walk to the RIGHT down Water Street.
Watch for a bank of pay phones on your left. Cross the road and you'll see a hidden pathway to the shore.
Walk toward the water, but only about 20 steps - your treasure is tucked behind the first boulder on your right.
I recommend grabbing the box and then heading across the street to The National Hotel for lunch. Exchange stamps over a bowl of chowder, and please be careful hiding the box again. This is a very highly trafficked area.
I included a self-addressed stamped envelope with this one, since we live in NC and won't be able to collect the journal when full. Thanks, fellow letterboxers!
