We came across this box in really bad shape on 09/19/2025. We removed the garbage. The stamp was covered in so much crud, we couldn’t even make out the carved image and didn’t know if it was even salvageable. Well it cleaned up great and it’s a cool image. This box was originally planted on 06/28/2009 by Den 9 Leader(who hasn’t signed in since that date) and the carve has Cub Scout Pack 95 on it. Seeing as we are a Scouting family we decided to adopt this box and keep it going. It’s only had 8 finds on LbNA so I also linked the clues over to AQ hopefully to get more traffic. Clues only needed slight update. Enjoy and if any problems or issues let us know. Thanks.
Now on to the clue:
Begin in the parking lot of the Cascades. Take the trail by the kiosk up the hill
At the top take the unmarked trail on right to the stream, turn left and follow the trail up stream (NE)
Go under the power lines, stay to the right
go down the steps, stay to the right
walk out on the rocks and enjoy the view
continue up stream
continue up the stairs
follow the path to the right
go down the rocks
cross the bridge
go straight up the hill then back down
cross the dry (or wet) creek bed via small bridge (pond on left, creek on right)
go left around the lake, look right for stairs
go up the stairs
at the 12th step look the the rising sun; you will see a pair of beech trees(one is now broken)
If you do your best, you will find the box under Chris and MH
