This box is in the Coronado National Forest northeast of Tucson. Driving towards Tucson from the east on I-10, take exit 275 and go north on Houghton Rd. Turn right on Catalina Highway. Going towards Tucson from the north on I-10, take exit 256 and drive east on Grant Rd. Turn left on Tanque Verde Rd. Turn left on Catalina Highway. Driving up the highway and after passing mile post 5 turn left into the Molino Basin Campground. Drive all the way to the end of the campground road and park by the trailhead (If the campground is closed, you will have to walk up to the end of the road which is 0.7 miles one way). Walk UP the Molino Basin Trail. In a short distance you will arrive at a “T” junction – turn right. Walk for a while. After crossing the small stream a second time, the trail goes up a slope, levels off slightly, crosses a small shallow drainage course, and then quickly makes a significant right turn (at the time of placing this box there was a brown fiberglass marker at this turn). Back at the point where the trail crosses the small drainage channel, go at about 160 degrees (from mag. north) for about 32 steps to three small boulders. The left boulder is flat and the largest of the three. The box is under the northeast corner of this boulder and behind a rock. There is a small Oak Tree hanging slightly over it. Be very alert for snakes.

This box was placed for the 5th Annual Tucson Letterboxers Gathering.
