Note:
I haven't heard from anyone, but Lobo seems to have moved on. If you have the box please use "contact the placer" to let us know he's safe in Letterboxing hands, even if you haven't re-planted him yet!

This box is "Lobo The Hobo" but since that name has already been listed I had to change it slightly.
Original clues:
Since the railroad first began, there have been people who have ridden the rails for one reason or another, whether they were short on cash, or it was just time for a change. The rail was the fastest mode of transportation. The sights and sounds of the old trains stir memories and even now in this day and age, trains hold a special place in most of our hearts.

Every time I see a train I stop to wonder where it came from and where it is on its way to. How many lives will what is on that train touch? Now it is time for me to hit the rails. I have watched the trains come and go. With the help of my friends, I hope to ride the rails of this great country. My name is Lobo the Hobo. I am a wandering letterbox. If you wouldn't mind, please take me from my current location and plant me near the railroad tracks at some other location. But PLEASE, for my safety and the safety of those looking for me, don't plant me too close to the tracks themselves. As much as I enjoy the Railroad, I would never want anyone to get hurt at my expense. I hope you enjoy my journey as much as I will. Thank you for helping me on my journey along the railroad.

From the original planter: This is a wandering letterbox. We would like it to work along the same basic principal as a hitch hiker, except that instead of planting him in an already existing letterbox, we ask that you plant him in an original location somewhere along a set of railroad tracks keeping with the hobo theme. When you have found the box, please contact the current placer, so they can delete the current clues to the box. Once you have placed the box in another location, post the clues as if it were your own box. The only thing we ask is that you not change the name of the box. This way we and others that the box comes in contact with will be able to keep track of its progress. This box will count as a Find as well as a Plant. We hope that you enjoy this box and help Lobo on his journey.

Additional from Dagonell the Pirate: (dagonell@heronter.org) Please keep me informed as to the location of the box. I'd like to keep track of its progress.
Additional from Kelsung (kelsung@kelsung.com) Please keep me informed as well. This was a fun idea for a letterbox.

(The above information must all be added to your new clues.)

New Clues:
Find the biggest gardens in this city. Their name is Spanish for "rest," so Lobo thought this would be a fine place to take a nap in a spot where he could hear the comforting sound of the train as his lullaby.
Enter the Gardens and find the train station, but stay on the largest paved walkway which runs in front of it. Ahead to the left is a brown gazebo. Continue on the main path in this direction. Just beyond the gazebo a leafy trail leads left toward the ivy-covered banks of a stream. Follow this small trail as it meanders beside the stream, parallel to the main walkway. At the end of the path go up the steps and turn left, crossing over the stream. You’re now on another paved walkway. Cross the train tracks, pass Theresa on the left and look for trees 57 and 58. They flank a wide, leafy unpaved trail. Turn left again.
When you get to the cinderblock walls, turn left which will lead to a large group of green plants. Circle around them in a counter-clockwise direction until you are beside a large tree with a white stripe on its trunk, which leans over the plants. Lobo decided to take a nap here under the tree with a blanket of ferns and leaves to cover him. He is about 18 inches from the tree trunk. To avoid disturbing the plants, you can use a stick to gently tap beneath the leaves until you wake him.
