Billy Bass at the Boulders LbNA #44033
Well picking the name for this box was pretty easy. You probably remember that dumb mechanical singing bass that many folks had on their wall. Yep, the one that sang “Lead me to the River” or some such song.
We went on Atlas Quest and did a name search and found no other “Billy Bass” letterbox so we figured, heck we beat the Grumpy Grinch to this name. Now anyone that has found a few Grinch letterboxes know that the names they pick always have the first letters the same, so with that in mind here is one for the Grinch.
Head to Camp 9 at 8547 Sierra Way and clock your mileage. Continue down the road for 7/10 of a mile past the Camp 9 entrance and park in the large turnout that the mileage takes you to. At about the middle of the turnout there is a large rock outcropping close to the road. Box is under a spor to the left of the front flat rock.
