From Eureka Springs,follow Hwy. 187 to the Beaver Dam Overlook Site. Enjoy the view, the peace and quiet, and the fresh air. Across the road from the Overlook, is the hiking trail. Ascend the winding flight of stairs to the sitting bench. Sit a spell. Don't follow the trail yet. Turn left, and meander about 50 feet, then go uphill approximately 100 feet to a fallen tree. Beavers Box is buried in the tree trunk. After replacing the Box carefully, continue your hike along the trail. Enjoy.
