From Route 38 east, turn left onto Smithville Rd.
Travel about 1/4 mile (to church)and turn left on West Railroad Ave.
Drive an 1/8 mile and park in parking lot on right.
Take trail straight ahead toward pond
When the trail ends - turn right and walk along the water ridge path
Stay along path with pond on left
When the path forks, stay left
Go down steps and cross rusty Continental Bridge
Stop at end of bridge and look to right
Under the tree with GP carved into it look beneath the exposed roots
Find the small rock pile and there lies the Shadow Letterbox.
