I decided to plant a letterbox here since it brought back memories of when my mother was a small child. She would tell me what it was like when this draw bridge was in use. This draw bridge was built in 1911. Their also was another draw bridge the other end of the canal near the Sagamore Bridge. Directions: Drive to the town of Buzzards Bay. Drive down main street and than on Perry Avenue. Look for sign 3 Mile Look and Greenbelt Pathway. Walk to the 4th lamp post on the left. You will find the letterbox in the vee of tree.
