Facing the monument with your back to the street, spot the only "non-evergreen" tree.
Go to it and look behind it, deep in its roots.
Recover this well and as naturally as possible. It is covered with a bit of dirt too, just in case....

If you are not willing to forgo getting this box if it is busy, then do not hunt for it. It is an urban location and stealth is required. Bring a camera to photograph the stones or paper to write down dates etc to make your visit less suspicious. There are benches in the vicinity where you can stamp in
