Status of Minibox: Reported Missing on 2-15-09.
The "Purple Possum Winery" minibox is located at this named "winery", but all they actually make Mead. The are renovating the place, so not sure what changes may have occured when you go to find this box. It took a leap of faith for us to stop and taste. Friendly people, and interesting tasting.
Directions:
From Navasoto, take Hwy 6 toward Waco. After Hwy 105, and Hwy 90, take next exit at FM 3090 and go right. Turn right on Rabun Road (Hard to see, look for winery sign). Winery is on the right at ways down, again look for sign, as you will miss it.
To the Minibox:
Walk to porch of tasting room (shack). Find triangle signal at left of porch, then follow the porch to the right to where the wall starts. At that corner, under the base is a cement block (holding up porch). Mini is on back side of this block (reach around and find 2 x 3 inch duct tape pouch.
