From Austin, take Hwy 71 East to Bastrop, then a left onto Hwy 95 and a quick right onto Hwy 21 East. Go approximately two miles and turn left onto South Shore Road (CR 352). Continue on South Shore Road for a few miles and the entrance will be on your right. Stop at the entrance station to pay the fee ($3/adult) and get a map.
To the Box:
Find the Fisherman's Trail by cabin #44. Follow trail and take a RIGHT at the "Y". Follow the trail around to power lines. Continue in to the woods on the trail until you see a bench on the RIGHT. Go to the far end of the bench, and continue 114 steps. Look LEFT, there is a tree that is leaning back away from the trail. Box is behind tree. Please Re-hide and cover well.
