Update: 4/08 Stamp & logbook replaced. Arrgh! Pirates (geocachers) had stolen my stamp again.
New clues, a little more extreme to reach the box, but hopefully it will last longer.
On old Route 66,
Head through Oatman towards Kingman, Arizona.
Just past mile marker 30 and at the curve you will see stairs on your right.
Park your car in the small turnout on the right next to the stairs.
Climb 31 stone steps.
Check out the goldfish in Schaffer Fish Bowl Springs.
From the Schaffer Fish Bowl Springs take a reading of 180 degrees (should be due south) you should see a pile of reddish brown boulders on a dry waterfall. Climb like a mountain goat across the rocks to the biggest boulder, you want to get to the top of it. (approximately 65 ft. away)
The letterbox is to the west (right) of the big boulder. At the time of placing it I put a large stick and a rock to mark the spot (visible from the fishbowl springs). Look next to the rock where a flat rock like Wilma's table is there for you to stand on. What you seek is between the flat rock and the boulder under some small rocks. Your should see a small cave/tunnel heading down to the right of the hiding spot.
Be sure to check out the Burro Crossing Letterbox, Gold Road Mine, and the Route 66 Letterbox in Oatman.
