Bedford Reservation is part of the Cleveland Metroparks system. This section has hiking, bridle trails, picnic areas, creek, a shallow water sprinker pool for kids.

Equipment Needed: ink pad, bug spray, pen
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 30 minutes

Driving Directions:
From I-480, Exit Transporation Blvd in Garfield Hts. If you are coming from the West side, when you come to the end of the exit ramp to the light, continue forward up Antenucci Blvd until it ends and make a right at Turney Road. Travel about 3 miles to Dunham Road and make a right and head (south) on Dunham Rd. Go down the hill and over the creek on the left is the Park entrance. Make a left into the park and drive up the hill, you will probably go 2 miles until you see the parking lot on the right for Bridal Veil Falls. Park here and you will see the trail entrance across the street.

Clues:
Enter the trail for the Bridal Veil Falls, walk over the wooden bridge and down the steps to the bottom. At the bottom walk over the wooden bridge and pass the plaque in honor of "Joe Potocsnak". Just past the plaque is a an overlook with a nice view, take a minute to enjoy and then continue foreward on the trail and up the hill. As you travel up the hill look on the left for "CAROL 81". Stop at Carol and begin counting 155 steps foreward on the path then stop. Turn right and look down into the woods, you will see a large twin trunked tree about 15 steps down. The Pirate's Box lies there in the back door.
