Troop 1337 has planted 15 letterboxes in Valley Stream State Park. This is a beautiful park with walking and bike trails, playgrounds, picnic areas and ball fields.Take the Cross Island Parkway South. Get on the Southern State Pkwy. East. There is an exit for the Park. (Can only be reached Eastbound on the Southern State). Enter parking field

Start out from the blue building rest rooms near park entrance.
Travel south on path.
Find “Hip Rotation Station” World Trail.
Head east on path to the broken tree covered with ivy.
From tree, walk east approximately 50 paces.
Then head south toward “tree bridge” laying over the creek.
You will find the letterbox approximately 12 feet before the “tree bridge.”
