This box was placed as a birthday present for my girlfriend. It's not too difficult, so it's a great one for kids to join in as well, though use extreme discretion. As always, please take care when hunting and rehiding the box.

Some things to consider before starting your hunt:
- The box is located in Peace Park on the University of Missouri campus, so it's a pretty high traffic area. It is best to avoid hunting for this box between the hours of 8am and 8pm to avoid being seen and giving away the location of the box.
- Due to the need to hunt during non-daylight hours, it is a good idea to have a buddy for safety reasons.
- Ink has been included in the box, though it's still a good idea to bring your own as well, just in case.
- When hunting with other people, print off multiple sets of clues so everyone can have their own set.
- One pace equals two steps...step with your left, step with your right, that's one pace. Continue counting paces in this manner.

CLUES:
1) Your starting point is the corner of 6th Street and Elm. Stand at the stop sign that is on the corner of Peace Park. Looking away from Elm with the park on your left, walk up 6th Street on the sidewalk 15 paces.
2) Look to your direct left, towards the park. You will see a small worn path heading into the park and a trashcan. Go to the trashcan.
3) Standing at the trashcan, look back towards the stop sign you started at. Stand so that the trashcan and the stop sign create an imaginary line. Following that line away from the stop sign, you will see a brick bridge. Go to the bridge.
4) Standing at the bridge, look back towards the stop sign you started at. Near you, there should be two benches, one to your right and one to your left. Go to the bench on the left.
5) Sit down on the bench, and once again, look to your left and find the same stop sign. The sign and bench will create another imaginary line, just like you did with the sign and trash can. Once you have the bench and sign lined up, look to your right, away from the sign and towards the small creek that runs behind the bench.
6) Standing on the edge of the concrete around the bench, walk along the imaginary line you've just drawn connecting the bench and the stop sign. About seven paces should put you up against the rocks lined up against the bank of the creek.
7) Go over and past the rocks to the bank of the creek. Look back and find your original stop sign (last time, I promise!), and stand so the sign and the bench you were just at are in line with each other.
8) Squat down, facing the rocks. Find the space between the rocks. The letterbox is located in this space, hidden behind some leaves. Please use discretion before reaching in for the box, and be careful that an animal hasn't made the space his home.

One last reminder: Please use extreme discretion when hunting for this box. This box is very important to me. Not only is it the first letterbox I've hidden, but it was a birthday present for my girlfriend. Enjoy its contents, but please rehide it with care.

If there are any problems with the box, please let me know at src3h6@mizzou.edu. Happy Hunting!
