*****This box was replaced on 10-10-2009******
From I-20 headed east, take FM 31 (Elysian Fields Road) north toward Marshall for 1 to 1-1/2 miles. Pass a bright yellow house on the right and turn left at the first entrance to the Colonial Gardens Cemetery on the left. Drive to a small lake and turn to the right. Park at the wooden footbridge. Stand as if you are going to cross the bridge, but don't cross it yet. Turn to your left and walk
around the potted plant and the box is under the bridge near the plant Enjoy the peaceful island and lake, and note the “garden” names of each section of the cemetery.
On your way out head down the road about another mile and visit Marshall Pottery to look around and enjoy the pots, bowls, pitchers, and so much more that this company has produced since 1895. See www.marshallpottery.com for more information.
