Distance to Microbox: 200 Yards
Difficulty: Easy
Status of Microbox: Retired. Keeps going missing.
The "Puppy Dog #2" microbox was to replace missing box in Ray Miller park, but I give up on that location. Decided to hide in Hempstead while replacing missing stamp in Silver Eagle's "Watermelon Capital" box, thus it is located in that same park.
Direction:
From Houston, take Hwy 290 to Hwy 6 cutoff in Hempstead. Go to light at Hwy 6(not right to Bryan) and turn left. At first street (Zach) turn right and go to end T-junction. Turn left and soon you will see park on left. Turn in the first parking lot and park near pavillion.
To the Microbox:
Get on path that circles the park. Go left, passing the horses, Silver Eagle's box, and along the RR tracks, until you come to another path. There is a bench near the intersection of these paths. From behind the bench, go 17 steps across the grass at 100 degrees to a tree and wooden fence post. Look between the trees and the fence post, to the back side of the middle tree. Micro is hanging about 4 feet up. Please re-hang it well!
